Core Components Of Family Takaful
Protection
Provides a financial payout to beneficiaries if the participant dies or becomes permanently disabled during the coverage period. The benefit comes from the Tabarru’ fund (donation pool).
Savings/Investment
A portion of the contribution goes to a participant’s investment fund (based on Mudarabah or Wakalah model). Profits (if any) are shared between the participant and the Takaful operator according to an agreed ratio.
Shariah Compliance
Managed according to Islamic principles, supervised by a Shariah Advisory Board. Prohibits interest (riba), excessive uncertainty (gharar), and gambling (maisir).
